Carpinteria Cabinet Company was founded in the Carpinteria valley in 1989 by Mark Carter, a third generation Santa Barbaran. Carter Construction was the original name on the License (General B-1 #lic. 568522) issued by the California State License Board (CSLB). By the end of 1990, the focus was on kitchen remodels, finish carpentry and furniture inspired by Shaker, Mission and early American styles. With fine furniture and old world craftsmanship as a benchmark, a unique style of cabinetry was developed making Carpinteria Cabinet Company a true custom cabinet shop designing one of a kind kitchens that are stand apart in function and quality.
